…when I showed up there were a bunch of guys surrounding the place. But I’m guessing they weren’t expecting so much resistance.
[He doesn’t want to think that they did that as anything less than a final resort…]
It… things got a bit rough with the fire, but… the burns were pretty minor, and they’ve already healed for the most part. My throat is gonna take some time, but I’ll be okay.
